talk about a disparaging difference!

one of my fantasy baseball teams ended up in 5th place (the league that i won last year) and another (that i join randomly every year) i won first place!!

this is the team in which i ended up in 5th place:

c- pudge

OF - pat burrell

OF - magglio ordonez
utility player - jeff francoeur
bench - nomah garciaparra

SP - roy oswalt, noah lowry, john patterson, aj burnett, zach duke, fernando hernandez, jae seo, pat malholm
RP - trevor hoffman, chad cordero, tom gordon

as you can tell my pitching staff started to get a groove on in august (when most of them came up from the minors) and my hitting was hit or miss most of the season. my infield was fine and pretty good but my outfield was mediocre at best.

now this was my first place team:

c - jason kendell
1B - albert pujols
2B - jose reyes
SS - jhonny peralta
3B - david wright
OF - miguel cabrera
OF - randy winn
OF - barry bonds
utility player - aubrey huff
bench - jeff francoeur, magglio ordonez

SP - roy oswalt, mark buehrle, barry zito, zach duke, fernando hernandez, pat malholm
RP - scott shields, tom gordon, ryan dempster, kile farnsworth

my pitching wasn't as deep as in the other league but this team's hitting was phenominal especially in the last month with randy winn hitting everything that was thrown at him. but that infield? that's one JACKED infield!! combined for 99 HRs and that's with kendell hitting 0 HRs all year! this is a real good team. i was happy with it.
